Take action to raise funds
Schools and Colleges
The NAMBIKKAY association is seeking to develop partnerships with educational institutions. Are you a teacher, in charge of an educational establishment, an education assistant, or a pupil? Would you like to help children who suffer from AIDS? We would be delighted to help you organize an event that presents the orphanage, shares our experiences, explains the work carried out by the NAMBIKKAY association, and raises awareness of the fight against AIDS. These events form an ideal part of any curriculum in the humanities that concentrates on social morality and is looking for practical engagement. They also provide students with a rare and wonderful opportunity to experience solidarity with those perhaps less fortunate than themselves. Let’s take action: please support our association!
Communities, associations and individuals
The NAMBIKKAY Association seeks the support of institutions who wish to support our action. The action you take is doubly beneficial to us: in addition to funds raised, your aid helps us to publicize our fight to help orphaned children in India who have contracted AIDS. There are many possibilities for simple fundraising events in aid of the Shanthi Bhavan Children’s Home, which all help make the work of the NAMBIKKAY Association more widely known. We’ll give you a few ideas below, but feel free to be inventive!
You might be an amazing runner; you might be a little nervous about undertaking such a task; you might simply be curious: whoever you are, please, take the plunge and contact us ! We are happy to meet up with you, exchange ideas and reflect together on how you might be able to help us.
There are many ways you can help us raise money !
Here are a few ideas:- Tombola, bingo;
- Car boot sale, garage sale, clothes sale;
- Sponsored run;
- Chess tournament, drawing contest, dictation;
- Talent show, Nativity play, concert;
- A themed evening soirée or dance, an Indian meal;
- Cake, pastry, pancake, candy sales.
