India Conference: The Desire for Power
Olivier Da Lage, editor-in-chief at the RFI, is a specialist in Indian and Middle Eastern affairs.
India has set itself up as China’s rival in becoming agreat power of the twenty-first century. Its demographic and economic potentiality supports this desire for power, and yet the obstacles in its way are numerous and its ambitious gamble has not yet paid off. Even though India progresses, poverty persists.
Olivier Da Lage will present his latest book, India: Desire for Power, on Monday, February 12th at 8pm. The event will take place at 44 rue de l’Est 92000 Boulogne, Room Saint Jean.
After the presentation Olivier Da Lage will be available to answer your questions and to sign his book over some light refreshments.
