At the beginning of the year the new governor of Pondicherry, Mrs Kiran Bedi, came to visit us at the Ashram. She is an important personality in India.
She was delighted by her visit and the contact she had with the children. Her attention was drawn to the lack of computers to which the children have access. She was insistent we prepare the children to enter the digital world by giving them access to a computer room and the internet.
The project to acheive this will require 5 computers, 1 printer, 1 air-conditioning (to protect the equipment), and 1 modem.
Nous remercions chaleureusement les élèves du collège saint Justin qui se sont mobilisés tout au long de l’année 2017-2018 pour récolter des fonds.
Outre le parrainage de quatre enfants de leur âge, ils ont pu financer l’achat du matériel informatique.
Un grand merci à chacun des élèves, adultes et parents d’élèves pour leur implication, leur enthousiasme et leur générosité !
